Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, especially if you don’t know what to expect. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday!
Where does The Well meet?
We are located at 7995 Thomas Nelson Highway, right on Route 29 in Lovingston. There is plenty of onsite parking.
What happens during the Gathering?
Sunday's gathering is a time to celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus together. We do this by singing songs of praise, listening and responding to biblical teaching and taking communion together. We love to add an occasional baptism to our worship experience. Come as you are, dressed how you like!
The gathering usually lasts for about 60 minutes. Children ages 0-6yrs can stay with families during our worship song time and go to their own group during the weekly Bible message. The Wellspring, our children's ministry, is staffed by background checked volunteers and staff. Our auditorium has tables and chairs set aside for families with children and our younger guests can stay in adult service with their parent/ guardian. There are activity sheets, crayons and markers for our young guests. Each child can receive a study guide from Pastor Dan. If you prefer your children remain in service with you, that is fine as well. We are family oriented and welcome all attendees, no matter their age.
What is a church plant?
A church plant is simply the term given to a new church starting up in an area. Anyone who walks through the doors of The Well can be expected to be greeted warmly and cared about, regardless of his or her’s church background, or life circumstance. We’re a place where you can belong before you believe.
We hope you experience Christ in a whole new way. As a family of God we hope to:
Delight- God is so good we want to delight in Him and His Word.
Disciple- Being together in the thick and the thin. Spurring each other to be more like Jesus.
Declare- We are a church that will unapologetically declare the good news of the Gospel, without serving it on the tray of legalism.
Display- We want to actively live out our faith, displaying Gods love through our lives.
